Flora of Crown Quay 7th September 2012

Richard Moyse a natural historian for Plantlife, Jo Roberts and I made a tour of this and other Urban Fringe locations today. Amid the fly tipped detritus of the quay the following were all recorded:-
birch (small tree), black horehound, black medic, bramble, buddleia, canadian fleabane, cattail, coltsfoot, common centaury, creeping thistle, cypress, fleabane (Guernsey), greek dock, hawkweed oxtongue, hawthorn, hedge bindweed, hemp agrimony, hop, lucerne, marsh samphire, mugwort, narrow leaved birdsfoot trefoil, narrow leaved ragwort, opium poppy, oxford ragwort, pellitory of the wall, perrenial sow thistle, reed, ribwort plantain, rocket, rose, sea aster, seabeet, sea couch grass, sea blite, sea purslane, smooth sow thistle, stonecrop sedum, toadflax, wild carrot, woody nightshade, yarrow, yorkshire fog
