Last Bow for Bowater Tower

Bowater’s water tower has been a distinctive feature of our travels around the northern edges of Sittingbourne and an important means of orientation.  This last reminder of an important part of the town’s heritage was blown up on Sunday September 9th at 6.30am to help make way for a new Morrissons super market.
