Strood Riverside Walk Low Tide

A large mound of trolleys lie just north of the bridge and the trail continues along the whole river front. Seaweeds and molluscs are glued to the frames of older residents, whilst other newer arrivals on the littoral still have something of their original stainless shine. Chariots from bustling markets of consumption lain to waste in serial denunciations of capitalism; or just frustrated devilry?

The cast off remains of yesterday’s exercise machine rusts close to Strood Pier, whilst above the high water line a newer collection of fitness kit has been unusually provided for promenaders in need of a more strenuous workout than a simple walk.
